The New Jersey Press Association's Editorial Committee is proud to announce the winners of the 2004 Better College Newspaper Contest.
Seventeen colleges submitted 304 entries in January 2005. The contest was judged in February by active or retired editors, writers and photographers from eight newspapers that are members of the New Jersey Press Association.
The winners were honored at the New Jersey Collegiate Press Association's Spring Conference on Thursday, April 14, 2005, at the Trenton Marriott Hotel, Lafayette Street, Trenton, N.J. The judges' comments on the entries were distributed to the colleges at the conference.
Our warmest congratulations to all of the winners! We thank all of those who entered the competition.
